PROBLEM : VSCO sought a strategic product launch campaign for their new feature, Spaces. Spaces fosters creative communities by allowing users to collaborate in themed galleries. The campaign needed to resonate with VSCO's diverse audience segments: Active, Curious, and Professional users.
SOLUTION : We developed a multi-platform campaign emphasizing community. The core theme addressed the user desire for connection and collaboration. The campaign targeted VSCO's three core user personas – Active, Curious, and Professional users. The opening visuals of the advert showcased scenarios relevant to each persona, piquing their interest. This was followed by a strategic reveal of the Spaces UI and abstract demonstrations of its functionality within the app. The campaign utilized both paid and organic social media platforms for widespread reach it also had a dedicated landing page on the VSCO website providing in-depth information about Spaces, further engaging interested users.
The campaign achieved significant success, generating considerable excitement and user engagement upon launch.
