PROBLEM : Tommy John required a compelling hero video to anchor the campaign for their Second Skin underwear collection. The advertisement needed to spotlight the collection's unique features, particularly the innovative Hammock pouch design, and be optimised for distribution across various social media platforms.
SOLUTION : Initially, we pitched a multi-scenario concept titled "A Day in the Life of the Boys" was proposed. This concept aimed to showcase Second Skin's benefits throughout various daily situations. The client opted to focus on a single, relatable scenario – "Relaxing at Home". I created a detailed storyboard to visualise the video, accompanied by a mood board that defined the desired aesthetic – clean, modern, and focused on product functionality. Weekly meetings with the 3D animation team ensured realistic modelling, textures, and lighting, while post-production added sound design and refined visuals.
The final ad campaign was highly successful, utilising captivating 3D visuals to effectively highlight the innovative design and support of the Hammock pouch. Multiple iterations of the ad were developed to enhance campaign engagement further. As a result, the campaign significantly increased website traffic and boosted sales of the new Second Skin underwear.
