CLIENT : Aberlour

PROBLEM : Aberlour wanted to update their website to hero their Speyside finest single malt whiskey and have the brands founder family motto, ‘Let the deed show’, at the core of the site. Alongside this, they also wanted to showcase the unique character and depth of each of the brands 4 single malts.

SOLUTION : I started by creating simple wireframes, then I created a prototype of the website to test the user journey to make sure there was a clear intuitive flow throughout the site. Design wise, we made sure each of the 4 single malts unique characters were showcased by using an expressive illustrative style background for each. This gives an illustrative representation of the unique flavour each whisky holds. This style was then used boldly throughout the site so it all visually linked together.
