PROBLEM :  VSCO wanted to create a product launch campaign that would highlight their new product feature - Spaces and promote their new brand message. ​

SOLUTION : The main theme we landed on for the campaign was community. The new Spaces feature, was a new creative community where creators can join a space to build a shared gallery around a particular theme, photography style, event, or location. Contributors in a space encourage each other to post with a regular cadence (e.g. photo-a-day challenge) or a particular theme. The three main personas of their audience - who we needed to reach where 'Active', 'Curious', and 'Professional'. We needed a teaser advert to go alongside the campaign, which would show elements of the new Spaces UI. I created detailed storyboards which included abstract examples of the new VSCO product features. The brand messaging throughout was about community and collaboration. The campaign went live on various paid and organic social media platforms along with a new dedicated page on their website.
