PROBLEM : Linda McCartney Foods aimed to increase their social media following and boost engagement among their audience, particularly targeting individuals who had not yet explored vegetarian or vegan diets. The challenge was to create a series of social media content that would promote vegetarianism and veganism in an appealing and non-confrontational way, using humor to attract and engage new audiences.
SOLUTION : To address this challenge, I was tasked with developing monthly content calendars that would creatively promote Linda McCartney Foods' offerings. The content needed to emphasize the brand’s core values: great taste, quality ingredients, and the wide range of hearty, classic dishes available. I focused on making vegetables the hero of each social media post, visually showcasing the freshness and quality of the ingredients through bold, vibrant colors. This approach was designed to highlight the flavor and appeal of Linda McCartney Foods in an inviting and appetizing way. To further broaden the appeal and increase engagement, we infused a significant amount of humor into the posts. This strategy not only made the content more relatable but also helped to draw in a wider audience, including those who may not have previously considered trying vegetarian or
vegan options.
As a result, the posts increased both the following and engagement across various Linda McCartney Foods’ social media platforms, effectively promoting the brand’s products and message in a fun and accessible manner.
