QUOTING APP
PROBLEM : Flashbay wanted an app designed whereby customers could receive quotes for Flashbay’s USB products that could be customised to fit the individual customers specific needs.
SOLUTION : After detailed research into Flashbay’s offerings and desired outcome, I created wireframes from the perspective of a customer using the potential app. I analysed Flashbay’s ‘quoting process’ on their website and stripped it back to make it easier for the user to get expedient quotes. Once the wireframes had been signed off, I created the design of the app. Sticking to Flashbay’s iconic red and white, I created a visually clean and subtly branded app.

PROCESS : The app I designed has three main buttons at the bottom of thE interface, USB, POWER and AUDIO (the three core functions Flashbay’s products fall within). Navigating through to the product(s), there are just two drop downs - COLOUR and CAPACITIES. Once both are selected, the far right “selection circle” fills. Similarly, to delete a product, the user would simply select the far right selection circle again and it would return to an outline to let you know it is now unselected. The top left BACK icon makes browsing or amending easy, without breaking the user journey. Once all potential products are chosen, the user simply presses the top right button QUOTE, enters their details and presses GET
QUOTE to finish.
